FIRST LIGHT is a scroll-film site built entirely from generated video footage — a single 25-second AI-generated shot of the chubby ogtraplord.com rocket launching from a storybook meadow at dawn. As you scroll, the video scrubs forward and backward, creating the illusion of continuous camera motion. The page layers in a mission telemetry HUD, chapter markers, and a paper manifest below the scroll.
How it works: The scroll-film-studio skill chains AI video clips shot-by-shot, verifying every seam with SSIM gating. The footage is then embedded in a custom HTML page with a canvas scrub engine that samples 300 pre-extracted frames, lerps between them as you scroll, and runs a jank-test harness to ensure smooth 60fps playback even on lower-end devices.
